Day 3, Part 1....Morgan's Wonderland

Day 3 brought us to Morgan's Wonderland, a fully-accessible park with rides, playgrounds, and activities for all people--with or without disabilities.
This was the first day we wore our matching "Family Fun in the Sun" t-shirts designed by our niece Alex!

This park was simply amazing! If you get a chance to visit, please do....you won't be disappointed!

Day 3, Part 1....Morgan's Wonderland

Day 2....Family Fun in the Sun.....

On Day two of our vacation, we picked up Daddy at the airport and went to the Riverwalk.

We took the boat ride around the river....


Ate at Casa Rio on the river.....



We were serenaded by a mariachi band....

And, then ended the day with none other than...... more swimming!

Family Fun in San Antonio! Day One...

Hi All! We just returned from our first family vacation--with Nole'. My Mom treated the whole family to a trip to visit my sister's family in San Antonio from June 1 through the 7th. We had so much fun on our mini-family reunion....my brother Joe and his wife Brenda weren't able to come because of all the flooding in Bismarck, so we were sad about that.

On our first day of the trip, Kevin had to stay behind one day because of emergency evacuations in our town due to flooding and to help take care of his mother.

So the first day, Grandma & Papa flew with me and the kids to San Antonio.

Grace was so frightened to fly again. She kept saying out loud to herself (& anybody who would listen) "Plane not scary. You go up. Stop. Go down. Then done." and "It's Ok, Grace, not scary." When she is upset, she self-talks herself through it. Bella, on the other hand, is a flying pro!
On Day One of Family Fun, we reconnected with the Texas cousins....



Ate at Freddie's....

And went swimming at the hotel pool.....

While watching Dora together on Netflix, Elizabeth noticed how much Bella looks like Dora. Then, when Bella ran back to her room and appeared with her "Backpack" and had a pink shirt on, no less, Elizabeth had Bella put on her orange pants and voila.....Dora? No, silly, it's Bella!
