Nole's Cabbage Patch Photo.....

We finally got around to taking the traditional grandchild's "Cabbage Patch" photo at Grandma's house! If you remember, Grandma has a collection of Cabbage Patch dolls and we have propped all of the grandchildren in with the dolls over the last 18 years.

To refresh your memory, here is the link to Bella's: http://beautifulgiftfromgod.blogspot.com/2009/10/reprise-cabbage-patch-baby.html

AND, here is sweet Nole' in the "Cabbage Patch...

Well, Bella HAD to get in on the action, so here is a photo of her just to show you how much she has grown in two years!
Traditions are so much fun, aren't they? Well, now we will have to wait for the first great-grandchild for the next photo! :)

  1. Awesome! I love the sheer joy on his face! What a great tradition! And Bella has grown up so much from when you brought her home. I seem to remember them giving you baby food to feed her at the orphanage (?) I notice all of these adopted kiddos seem to grow so fast. Mine included. I think love is like miracle-gro for them! :)

  3. I found your blog through the IDSC website. I was drawn to your title as that is the verse in the Bible that I feel has stamped my journey into parenthood. I adopted my eldest, who has DS, three years ago. She was born in Los Angeles. My husband and I just started talking about adopting another kiddo with DS from another country. What organization did you go with?
    I have a blog as well: ohmacyn.blogspot.com
    Your family is beautiful.
    God Bless.
