Today during OT, Connie asked Grace what her parents names are. She said, "Paula and Daddy."
When Connie said, "What does Paula call your Dad?", she said, "Honey!"

I am married to Kevin and have five children: Elizabeth (20), Samuel (17), Grace (14 w/Down syndrome), Bella (9 w/Down syndrome adopted from Ukraine 2009); and Nole' (7 w/Down syndrome adopted from Serbia 2011) We are a family that loves God and desires to bring him Glory in all we do.
Bella Bogdana Burckhard
This "beautiful gift from God" has been given to us through the miracle of adoption. She became part of our family in August 2009. We are excited to see how God will use this Ukrainian princess for his glory!
Nole' (listed as Nathan) Came Home on March 2, 2011 from Serbia!

This is so cute! When I was growing up, I thought my mother's name was Honey. My father literally NEVER called her Paula (her name too!) ever - I mean I still have never heard him call her by her name in my presence!

ReplyDeleteWhen I was about 4, I remember asking my mom what her name was. She answered, "Jane". Then it dawned on me - THAT's who "Jane" was!! I'd heard that name so many times but just never know that was MOM!!! LOL
