Well, just want to give a quick update on what we know about where we are in our adoption process.
Our 10 day wait is over this Friday, August 8th. Usually the court decree can picked up the following day, but, because the next day is a Saturday we have to wait until the following week. And, no, not Monday, but next Wednesday, August 12th because in Kiev you can only pick up court decrees on Wednesdays and Fridays.
We've had some bumps in the road the last two days. Please pray for our process to be smoothed out and that our spirits are lifted. Although this has been an extremely stressful time, I am treasuring the time I have with Elizabeth and Bella! Please also pray that I can hold it together for the both of them--all to the Glory of God.
In Him, Paula

So you can pick it up next Wednesday--then how long do you have to wait from then? Do you know your return date? Sorry for all the questions. We will pray for smooth and relaxing days!! :-)
ReplyDeleteWaiting to come home with Bella can be a good thing........like I've got some house cleaning and other projects to get done! So enjoy your time as a couple of girls on spring break or something!
ReplyDeletePraying your bumps get smoothed out and you are able to return home quickly.
ReplyDeleteKevin, get that house cleaned up!!!!lol
Paula, I'm praying for you! I hate to point this out and cause any additional stress, but it sounds like Kevin has trashed your house! :)
ReplyDeleteI know that my husband was at your house until after midnight the other night---who knows what other parties Kevin's been throwin'! (JK) We're praying for smooth sailing on your end and appreciate your prayers for us.
ReplyDeletePaula,
ReplyDeleteMissed you today - we only went in the morning (more notary/paperwork this afternoon). I will pray that everything is smoothed out quickly.
You'll have to fill me in on what's going on. And, don't forget, we're treating for dinner soon - maybe one night early next week.
Jaime
Oh Paula, I'm praying these bumps will be resolved and that you'll soon be on your way home with that precious new little girl of yours. Keep your spirits up, this will pass (remember God's working on it), and you'll be coming home soon.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless,
Amy
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. What a beautiful gift at the end of all of these bumps. You are so lucky to have Elizabeth with you and "BELLA".
