Today we decided to switch gears a bit and go with an adoption agency that works with facilitators. It will be a bit more money, but it will be worth it because there will be no surprises in country.
The agency is called About A Child and the Director's name is Victoria. We are looking forward to working with them as they come highly recommended! We will also continue to work with Reece's Rainbow, the international ministry that helps find families for orphans with Down Syndrome.
We thank all of you who are praying, encouraging, and supporting us in this exciting adventure. We feel blessed to have such a strong network of family and friends.
Today, I was reminded of this verse from Psalms 68:5-6....
"Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation. God settles the solitary in a home..."
What a great reminder for our family when we hit these bumps in the road. This isn't about us, but about being God's instruments to fulfill his will in this adoption!
