School Pictures & Update...

Here's a quick run-down on what's happening with each Burckhard family member along with their school picture:

Elizabeth:
Completed her 2nd novel in the NaNoWriMo contest. (National Novel Writing Month). She bypassed the set goal of 50,000 words by writing 50,200 words. She says it is still untitled and that she won't let anyone read it!

Samuel:
Starred in the Our Redeemer's Christmas Program last night as Mr. Nolan...clad in a polyester plaid yellow suit & bow tie! He is a Thespian just like his dad!

Grace:
Came home from school yesterday saying "I stayed Green!" Meaning she had good behavior. The funny thing is that her communication notebook revealed she went RED yesterday! Trying too hard to be the teacher by disciplining the other kids and putting them in "red". What a bossy gal!

Bella:

Continues to make us laugh. Just this morning, she sat under the Christmas tree and signed "ball". In the next instant, she had a glass ball ornament in her hand where she proceeded to throw it, shattering it into a million pieces on the wooden toy box! She looked at me like "OH NO..." and seemed to expect to be disciplined. I was really trying not to laugh at her funny expression...I just told it her it was OK, but not to touch the ornaments on the tree.

Kevin: Is one happy camper today because it is snowing! He says that's all he wants for Christmas: snow. Bob (the Bobcat) is lonely and is getting lazy just sitting in our driveway. The SnowMen are raring to go!

Me: Just doing my Christmas shopping online--in between my chores and playing with Bella.

Have a great day!

Great job to Elizabeth on her writing!! And Samuel, Master Thespian! And Grace, for her good behavior! And last but never least, Bella...a lesson learned, don't touch the ornaments! :)

To a successful winter for your SnowMen!!
